Criminal Code Amendment Act (No. 30) B.E. 2568 (2025)
The Act Amending the Criminal Code (No. 30) B.E. 2568 (2025), in force from 30 December 2025, reforms Thailand's sexual-offence law — criminalising sexual harassment and revising how rape and related sexual offences are defined — broadening protection for victims and carrying workplace implications.
Digital Asset Business Emergency Decree (No. 2) B.E. 2568 (2025)
Thailand amended the Emergency Decree on Digital Asset Businesses B.E. 2561 (2018) — via the Emergency Decree (No. 2) B.E. 2568 (2025), effective 13 April 2025 — to expand its extraterritorial reach over offshore operators serving Thai customers and to let regulators block illegal or unlicensed digital-asset platforms more quickly.
Technology Crime Prevention Emergency Decree (No. 2) B.E. 2568 (2025)
Effective 13 April 2025, this amendment makes banks, telecom operators and social-media / online platforms share responsibility for losses suffered by victims of online scams and financial cyber-crime where they failed prevention duties, and speeds up the freezing of suspected mule accounts. It is a major consumer-protection response to Thailand's online-scam epidemic.
Criminal Code Amendment: Online Defamation Provisions 2025
The Criminal Code has been amended to clarify provisions relating to online defamation under Section 326-333, with specific guidance on jurisdiction and procedural requirements for digital communications.
