    Definition

    Conducting life or non-life insurance business in Thailand without a license from the OIC. Under Thai law, this offence is classified as a severe offence within the category of Insurance.

    Elements of the Offence

    For a conviction, the prosecution must prove all of the following elements beyond reasonable doubt:

    Soliciting or underwriting insurance policies

    Without a valid license from the Insurance Commission

    In the territory of Thailand
