Section 37
— Zoning enforcementOnce a comprehensive plan is in force, using land inconsistently with its zoning is prohibited (Section 37; specific plans under Section 51), with grandfathering for some existing uses. Breach is penalised under Section 105 (up to 1 year and/or a fine up to THB 100,000, plus up to THB 30,000 per day). Section 31 is the process for objecting to a draft plan.

— Plan adoptionA comprehensive plan is adopted and takes effect when issued as a Ministerial notification or local ordinance after approval (Section 33); a specific plan is enacted by Act or Royal Decree (Section 48). Section 46 covers the Department's review of a locally prepared specific plan.
