Overview
The Patent Act B.E. 2522 (1979) governs invention patents, design patents, and petty patents in Thailand. The Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) examines and registers patents. The Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court (CIPITC) has exclusive first-instance jurisdiction over patent disputes.
