    Jet Ski Damage Scam

    Tourists are charged exorbitant amounts for pre-existing damage to rented jet skis, often with intimidation.

    What To Do

    ✓ Photograph/video the jet ski thoroughly BEFORE renting
    ✓ Insist on a written agreement with damage terms
    ✓ Call Tourist Police (1155) immediately if threatened
    ✓ Do not pay excessive amounts under duress
    ✓ If you paid, keep receipt and file formal complaint
