Scope
Lead policy ministry for criminal justice, corrections, rights protection, and rehabilitation. Houses major departments including the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), Department of Corrections, Department of Probation, Department of Rights and Liberties Protection, and the Central Institute of Forensic Science.

How Foreigners Interact
Foreigners as victims of crime can apply to the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection for victim compensation under the Victim Damages Act B.E. 2544 (2001); incarcerated foreigners are housed in Department of Corrections facilities (Klong Prem, Bang Khwang, others) with consular access.
