Civil Court (Bangkok)
The Bangkok Civil Court is the principal first-instance civil court for the metropolis under the Civil Procedure Code B.E. 2477 (1934). Jurisdiction covers contract breach, property disputes, debt recovery, tort / wrongful-act claims, commercial disputes, and family-related civil matters not assigned to specialised courts — for claims exceeding THB 300,000. Cases at lower values go to the Kwaeng (District) Court.
