🇻🇳 Thai Law vs Vietnamese Law: Key Differences
Comparing Thai and Vietnamese legal systems — relevant for Vietnamese workers, investors, and visitors in Thailand.
Vietnam operates a socialist-oriented civil law system with the Communist Party of Vietnam holding constitutional supremacy. Thailand uses a market-oriented civil law system with a parliamentary monarchy. Both are ASEAN members and codified-law jurisdictions, but the political and economic framing differs sharply.
